WSJ Real Estate - A condo unit at Boston’s tallest residential tower is coming on the market for $38
A condo unit at Boston’s tallest residential tower is coming on the market for $38 million. The roughly 7,848-square-foot residence is located on the 58th floor of the Four Seasons Private Residences One Dalton Street, a 61-story hotel and condominium in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, said listing agent Michael Harper of MGS Group Real Estate. Records show the seller is Florence Rosse, whose late husband, Thomas Rosse, was an investor and founder of a medical device company. The Rosses bought two contiguous units from One Dalton developer Carpenter & Company for $31 million in 2020, according to records. They spent two years combining the units, but never lived there, Mr. Harper said. Mr. Rosse, who sold his company in the 1980s, died last year. The Rosse family didn’t respond to requests for comment. Mr. Harper said the residence has five bedrooms and a home gym, and the unit comes with four parking spaces. Because the Rosses combined two units, the residence has two kitchens: a catering kitchen and family kitchen with white onyx countertops. If it fetches its asking price, the apartment could be among the priciest condo sales in Boston. A penthouse at the city’s Millennium Tower sold for $35 million in 2016, according to public records.
