A beachfront spec house in Hawaii is asking $26.995 million, making it one of the most expensive homes on the market in Honolulu, said listing agent Beth Chang of Coldwell Banker Realty. ⁠⁠If it sells for the listing price, it would become the most expensive homes to trade on the MLS in the city of Honolulu, beating the $19.6 million sale of a neighboring home in March, said Ms. Chang.⁠⁠Developer Tom Nicholson bought the roughly 0.3-acre lot for $6.9 million in 2007, according to property records, and demolished an existing house on the site.
